Who will win this Friday’s Puppy Bowl?

Zelly the pupZelly is one of a few of the dogs from the Fort Worth Animal Shelter who’ll be playing in the NBC 5 Dog and Puppy Bowl this Friday morning. More importantly, all of the dogs will be waiting to be adopted.

This Friday’s Puppy Bowl is paw-sibly the cutest one the Fort Worth Animal Shelter has ever cohosted with the event’s sponsor, NBC 5. Not only are there adoptable puppies racing to the finish line, but a few larger dogs hope to get in the game, too.

Puppies from Fort Worth Animal Shelter will be “racing” Friday morning, each representing either the Kansas City Chiefs or the San Francisco 49ers. This is the first time these two have met in a Super Bowl.

All the dogs featured in the bowl game are adoptable and waiting for their own family. In fact, adoption fees have been reduced to $10 for all pets at any of the shelter’s three adoption locations.

Watch all the action on Facebook Live from 5-7 a.m. Jan. 31 on NBC DFW and Fort Worth Animal Care & Control as well as during the NBC 5 Morning Show with Deborah Ferguson. The Doggie Bowl will follow the Puppy Bowl.
