The city will update residents about water utility improvements scheduled for the Meadow Lakes area at 6:30 p.m. May 14 at the Lake Worth Multipurpose Center, 7005 Charbonneau Road.
Affected streets include:
- Roxanne Way from Hodgkins Lane to Shadydell Drive.
- Shadydell Drive from Roxanne Way to Boat Club Road.
- Woodlake Drive from Shadydell Drive to 100 feet south of Shadydell.
Construction includes building a pressurized main pipe to carry sewage from the Meadow Lakes Lift Station to east of Boat Club Road. A new gravity sewer that moves stormwater and wastewater from homes and businesses to a central treatment plant will also be constructed from the Jinkins Heights Lift Station to the larger Meadow Lakes Lift Station. Once the new gravity sewer is in operation, the Jinkins Heights Lift Station will be removed.
