Vail Police Department Personnel Recognize National Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Pink Badges

[delay +1 hour]

In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Vail Police Department will be wearing pink badges throughout October. The officers will pair the badges with pink undershirts while in uniform.

The Vail Police Department wishes to express support and hope for the 260,000 women and men annually diagnosed with breast cancer. In December 2011 the Vail PD family lost Sgt. Robyn Fetterolf to her fight against breast cancer. The education, early detection, treatment and research of this devastating disease have become a cause that is near and dear to the department’s hearts.

Further inquires can be directed to Detective Sgt. Luke Causey at lcausey.
