Upcoming educational program teaches about animals around the Rock

Whether it’s raptors, reptiles or other creepy crawlies, Castle Rock has a whole host of residents some may not know about. The Town’s wildlife education program teaches people about everything, and everyone, we share our home with. Come learn about the characteristics that make these animals unique at the outdoor Animals Around the Rock educational series.

Presented in partnership with the Douglas Land Conservancy, join Nature’s Educators to discover more about the various types of animals that live over, under and around Castle Rock. Meet these animal ambassadors and hear a presentation about their personal stories. Plus, stay after to get an up-close and personal experience with the animals.

Each event is free, and registration is recommended but not required. Bring the family and a picnic dinner and get ready for a wild experience.
