Unsettled Weekend, Sunny Memorial Day in Cache Valley

The weather in Cache Valley over the Memorial Day weekend proved to be unsettled with spots of clearing on Saturday morning and then strong winds and showers overnight and into the late afternoon on Sunday.

Cache Valley needed the moisture. This is a huge contrast from spring of 2011 when the valley had cool weather and storms until the first of July. This year the valley has experienced temperatures above normal and drier which has brought the leaves out and gardens blooming earlier than in the past few years.

The forecast for Memorial Day on Monday is sunny and a little bit warmer at about 60 degrees. This will be a great day for family visits, treks to the cemetery and barbecues with friends and family. Enjoy the weekend.
