Two Men Behind Bars for Trafficking Heroin

WILMINGTON, NC -Two men remain behind bars this morning facing a list of drug and possession charges including heroin trafficking. Wilmington Police Narcotics Investigators ended a two month long investigation last Monday and arrested, 31 year old Shawn Scott Fonville and 43 year old, Zabar Irick, both of Wilmington. Investigators executed a search warrant on a Mayfaire Drive apartment last week and conducted a traffic stop involving one of the men. Investigators found more than 3000 bags of heroin, an undisclosed amount of cash and two stolen handguns. Both men are each under a $5 million dollar secured bond.
