Three new signals installed to keep traffic moving in the right direction

As traffic picks up on both the north and south ends of Town, and a new fire station gets up and running, there will be new traffic lights to keep in mind.

New traffic signals have been under construction this summer at the intersections of Meadows Parkway and Low Meadow Boulevard, and Plum Creek Parkway and Emerald Drive. There has also been a new emergency signal installed for Fire Station 152 on Crystal Valley Parkway.

Construction is nearing completion, and the lights will enter flashing mode over the next week. Generally, new signals flash for about 72 hours before going fully operational. This allows drivers the opportunity to prepare for the new traffic routine. The new emergency signal on Crystal Valley Parkway is already fully operational as of last weekend.

As the community continues to grow, keeping up with traffic is a top priority. These signals are part of the Town’s overall plan to make sure motorists are safe on the road. Find out more about everything happening in the Town’s Public Works Department at CRgov.com/Roads.
