Terry Pettus Park Renovation Design Contract

Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) is soliciting consulting firms for landscape architectural design and engineering services for the redevelopment and expansion of a waterfront pocket park on Lake Union.  The project includes maintaining and enhancing recreational water access through redevelopment of existing overwater recreational structures, incorporating a new waterfront parcel into the park design, shoreline restoration, and designing pedestrian circulation to meet the standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

SPR is seeking the services of a creative, multi-disciplinary design team led by a Landscape Architect registered in the State of Washington to provide design and engineering services for this project.

The project is located on the eastern shore of Lake Union and provides opportunity for shoreline restoration.  The project will be required to meet federal, state and city standards for shoreline recreational park uses and in-water construction and Seattle Park and Recreation Design Standards, in addition to other applicable City of Seattle Municipal Code standards, including meeting stormwater drainage standards.
