Glendale, Ariz. – Vice Mayor Ian Hugh will have a behind-the-scenes look at three Cactus district hidden
gems. “Spotlight on the Cactus Corner” with Vice Mayor Ian Hugh will highlight Dolce Vino, a new
restaurant owned and operated by Ernesto Mazzoni that offers homemade Italian cuisine daily and live music
each weekend; Max’s Sports Bar and OTB, known as Arizona’s Most Legendary Sports Bar is currently
being remodeled and offers customers over 50 screens to watch their favorite sports channels; and the
Knights of Columbus, a charitable organization that continues to do great work in the community.
“I feel these three establishments have a unique story to tell regarding their history in Glendale and
future endeavors,” said Vice Mayor Ian Hugh. “I know many residents are patrons to these businesses and an
in-depth look will surely be well received.”
Watch the “Spotlight on the Cactus Corner,” slated to begin airing Friday, September 29, at 8 p.m.,
on Glendale 11. The formerly named city councilmember show titled “Glendale Today” for all
councilmembers’ videos, now features custom names for each city councilmember’s segment. “Spotlight on
Cactus Corner” is the new title for Vice Mayor Hugh’s show.
The show is a production of city-owned Glendale 11 TV station and airs daily on Glendale 11 and it
