Six COVID-19 Cases Reported in Lincoln Today

Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird and the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) announced that six new lab-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lincoln have been reported today, bringing the community’s total to 45.

All of the new cases today are community acquired, and the total number of community acquired cases is now 27. Of the six new cases today, one is a child under the age of 19, one is a female in her 30s, one is a female in her 40s, two are females in their 50s and one female in her 60s.

LLCHD is now monitoring 104 individuals. Lancaster County reports one death, 1,287 negative tests, 45 positives with 18 tests pending at the Nebraska Public Health Lab. There are now 570 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nebraska and 14 deaths.
