Several Routes Detouring on Central Tomorrow for Nob Hill Shop and Stroll

ABQride in Albuquerque New MexicoALBUQUERQUE—The Nob Hill Shop and Stroll on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016 will detour several ABQ RIDE buses that serve or cross Central. The detours will start at 3:30 p.m. and run until the end of service.

Going eastbound, Routes #66–Central,  #766-Rapid Ride/Red Line and #777-Rapid Ride/Green Line will all divert north and east onto Monte Vista, then east on Lomas and south on San Mateo before heading back to their regular routes on eastbound Central.  Westbound, the three routes will turn north from Central onto San Mateo, west on Lomas, then south and west on Monte Vista before resuming their regular routes on westbound Central.

Westbound Route #16-Broadway/University/Gibson (The “BUG”) will detour from north on Carlisle onto westbound Lead, then south on Girard back to its regular route.  Eastbound, #16/18 will turn east on Coal from Girard, then south on Carlisle back to its regular route.

ABQ RIDE will provide shuttle service during the Shop and Stroll that will operate on a loop from Monte Vista to Lomas to Washington, then turning west on Copper (which becomes Campus, west of Carlisle) before once again joining Monte Vista.

The Nob Hill Shop and Stroll begins at 5 p.m. and will run until 10:30 p.m.
