Somerset Academy Choir To Join Band On Stage For “Dream Big”
Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand are bringing their witty lyrics, fun stage antics, sing-alongs, and ballads in a fresh, crossover style to Centennial Hills Park Amphitheatre, 7101 N. Buffalo Drive, Saturday, Sept. 23. The family-friendly show starts at 7:30 p.m. and general admission tickets are $10 plus tax.
Playing a wide range of instruments and musical styles, Shupe and his band have performed at venues and festivals all over the United States, including Telluride Music Festival and Wasatch Mountain Music Festival. They have been described as a mix between Dave Matthews Band and Dixie Chicks without the political agenda, and appeal to fans of rock, bluegrass and jam bands across a broad range. Their newest album, “We Rode On,” combines the rock side of their musical arsenal with the acoustic instruments and virtuosic jamming the band has become known for.
The Somerset Academy SkyPointe SINGERS will join Shupe on stage as he sings a revamped version of his hit single, “Dream Big.” The signature song has been described as triumphant, inspirational and powerful.
After the show, Shupe and the band will meet with fans and sign autographs. The meet-and-greet is free for all ticket holders.
