The day after Thanksgiving I was working around Logan stopping by a few businesses here and there. After one of my stops, I saw that I had a facebook notification. Being the facebook junky that I am (NOT!), I checked it out. It was a note from Sweetly Divine about the slow soup day with their clam chowder. I looked at my watch and decided it was the right time and the right place to try out the soup at Sweetly Divine.
I picked up a quart of clam chowder and headed home to have some chowder for dinner. It was piping hot in the container and when I arrived home, it was still hot.
Sometimes, with clam chowder, the creamy part gets too thick and can have a flour taste. Not the case with this clam chowder. It has a nice sweet taste with a hint of clams and nice bite size chunks of potatoes. I was delighted with the soup.
Do you think I will be stopping by Sweetly Divine again for soup? Most definitely. If you haven??ª?t stopped by Sweetly Divine, you should check it out. They are located at 1309 North Main, Ste 90 in Logan. (Next to Shopko).
