RestoreHOI.com Offers Additional Guidance to Businesses Reopening Under Restore Illinois

Since the beginning of Phase 3 of the Restore Illinois plan, the website RestoreHOI.com was launched to offer guidance for businesses and residents on COVID-19 compliance.  Information is updated frequently as new guidelines are released from local and state officials.

The most recent updates include information on outdoor events, places of worship, golf courses, tennis courts, farmer’s markets, private RV sites, campgrounds, boating and fishing, and swimming pools. Also new to the site is guidance regarding garage sales, pools, and food trucks.  Visitors to the site will also find answers to frequently asked questions and a comparison of the Restore HOI and Restore Illinois plans.

As a reminder, all businesses opening temporary outdoor dining spaces must self-certify at RestoreHOI.com under “Certify Outdoor Dining and Events”. Businesses and community groups planning an outdoor event may now submit plans for review under “Certify Outdoor Dining and Events” button at RestoreHOI.com.

Members of the public are encouraged to support businesses that are taking steps to provide a safe and healthy environment for their customers by self-certifying at RestoreHOI.com as COVID-19 compliant.
