Informational meeting to highlight walkability, public transportation and infrastructure

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Residents are invited to an informational meeting Monday to learn more about upcoming construction projects designed to enhance walkability and connectivity in southeast Colorado Springs.

City officials from several departments including Mountain Metro Transit will speak about future projects to address walkability, transportation and infrastructure to include roadway construction on Academy Boulevard, sidewalk improvements, parks trail connections and public transportation.
