Who????????s Next

From ANSEARCHIN NEWS 1960, ??????Shelby County Tenn. Marriage Bonds??????. Joseph Nolly to Manervy Owen, November 28, 1848, #2015. A note on the back of the license reads, ??????Returned, not executed. Lady hid under the bed.?????? January 15, 1849.

The next entry reads, Joseph Nolly to Lucy Redford, Feb. 15, 1849. Apparently he soon found a lady who was more willing than Manervy.
