I had some time the other day around lunch, so I thought I would visit one of my favorite small places in town and try one of their sandwiches. Citrus and Sage has been going through some changes over the past couple of months by getting more involved in the community, getting some bands to come in and play, and developing a few great additions to the menu ??????? all changes for the better.
I have always liked going to Citrus and Sage because it is a nice place to relax, talk with friends, or get a little work done while in town. However, today, was the day to grab a sandwich. The sandwich of the day was “The Rabbit”. And, yes, you guessed right. The sandwich was a vegetarian sandwich Panini.
After a few minutes, the sandwich was brought out to me. As you are aware, a Panini is pressed while it is warmed. It wasn????????t overly cooked, and the flavors were incredible. The heat helps bring all of the flavors of the lettuce, the spread and the other ingredients together for a wonderful experience.
If you are going to Citrus and Sage, it is located at 130 North 100 East, Logan. They are closed on Mondays, but open every other day.
When you go in, tell them I suggested you have a visit. Some of my favorite things there is the hot chocolate (big cup made with milk) and the Italian sodas (light and refreshing). And, now I can add the Panini to my list of good things to get at Citrus and Sage.
