PUBLIC INVITED TO START FIRST FRIDAY AT THE “F” STREET COMMUNITY CENTER in LINCOLN

Lincoln Parks and Recreation invites the public to start their First Friday activities with free food and music at the “F” Street Community Center, 1225 "F" Street. The "First Step to First Friday" event is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Friday, July 6. The first Friday events will continue through August.

Activities this month include live performances from local artists Letura Idigima, Justice Alicia and Daniel Leija. Art from youth at the “F” Street Community Center and the Clyde Malone Center will also be featured. Attendees can enjoy avocado toast, massaged kale salad, and live music by DJ Animale. The Parks and Recreation Department is co-hosting the event with the South of Downtown Community Development Organization.
