Share your thoughts on the draft public art fund budget request during a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. March 22 at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, 1300 Gendy St.
Each year, the Art Commission requests an allocation from the Water and Sewer Fund for cash financing of capital projects to support public art administration, collection management and public art projects and initiatives. After receiving public comment, the Art Commission submits a formal request as part of the city’s annual budget process, which will culminate with City Council adoption of the fiscal year 2018 budget in September.
