The Springfield Police Department is investigating a report of a missing and endangered person and is asking for the public’s assistance. Sheila M. Deems, 59, went missing from her home in the 2200 block of W. Calhoun in Springfield between 7 and 8 a.m. on Oct. 3. Deems left her residence on foot in an unknown direction of travel.
Deems is insulin dependent. She left home without her medication, and she has a history of having diabetic emergencies and blacking out if she does not take her medication. She is 5 feet 5 inches, weighs 170 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what clothing she was in when she left her residence, however she was last seen in pajamas.
Anyone with information regarding Deems’ whereabouts is asked to call 911.
