City vs. City Tug-of-War and More at All-Ages Event for a Good Cause
(ARIZONA) – The Laughton Team and Military Assistance Mission are excited to announce a first-of-its kind local event, pitting two West Valley cities against each other in friendly rivalry for a good cause. On Saturday, March 3, the Peoria VS. Glendale Festival will be a day of community fun for all ages, including bounce houses, local food trucks, games, face painting and an all-ages city vs. city tug-of-war competition.
"We’re thrilled to host the first-ever Peoria vs. Glendale tug-of-war competition and celebration of our two favorite Valley cities,” said George Laughton, co-founder of The Laughton Team. “The best part of the day is being able to contribute to the Military Assistance Mission and the veterans they serve. We know the community will love all the fun we have planned for them.”
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the inaugural Peoria vs. Glendale Festival will benefit the Military Assistance Mission. MAM provides financial and morale support to Arizona active duty military, their families, and wounded warriors.
Local businesses that wish to sponsor the event can purchase a booth and promote their business through one-on-one interaction with local residents. Proceeds from local business sponsorships will benefit the Military Assistance Mission and the brave veterans they serve. Interested businesses should contact Caroline Porter at cporter.
