Parks Department Soon to Launch Fundraising Campaign for Fitness Court


The Parks Department has received a small grant from the National Fitness Campaign for a fitness court. The fitness court is a unique exercise platform designed for parks and community spaces providing an accessible way to get healthy and stay fit.

The total cost of the project is $120,000 and to date the total amount raised is $70,000. The Parks Department has also partnered with Patronicity to promote the fitness court project, build awareness and engage the community and sponsors in fundraising. The Latino Health for All Coalition has already pledged $30,000 to the project.
