NOPD VOWS Unit Arrests Subject Wanted for Armed Robbery

NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD VOWS Unit and U.S. Marshals arrested Darrius Wallace (B/M DOB:7/4/97), for armed robbery with a firearm.

Wallace was wanted by Detective Jerry Baldwin of the Second District.

The incident occurred at 3900 Cambronne Street on June 29, 2018. A .9 mm Glock handgun was later confiscated from a vehicle during a search warrant conducted by Second District Detective Sabrina James.

Wallace was arrested in the 7600 block of Downman Road in the Seventh District.

Wallace was also wanted and arrested on a fugitive attachment from Kenner for armed robbery and attempted murder.
