NOPD VOWS Arrests Suspect for Armed Robbery on St. Bernard Avenue

NEW ORLEANS – Members of the NOPD’s Violent Offenders Warrant Squad and U.S. Marshals Office arrested Alex Young (DOB: 04/20/87) today for an armed robbery incident that occurred in the 2500 block of St. Bernard Avenue.

The incident happened on January 19, 2018. The victim was approached by two male subjects with firearms at around 10:36 p.m. The victim then fled the location, and the suspects took money from the register.

Young was identified as one of the perpetrators in the incident and was also arrested under two additional warrants for domestic abuse battery issued in St. Charles Parish and for traffic violations issued in Jefferson Parish.
