NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred earlythis morning (Aug 23) that claimed the life of a male victim.
Just before 1:30 a.m., NOPD Seventh District officers responded to an aggravated battery by shooting in the 6900 block of Bundy Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unknown male in the driver’s seat of an Audi vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
The Coroner’s office will release the identity of the victim and the exact cause of death.
