NOPD Arrests Subject in Possession of Stolen Vehicle in the Seventh District

NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD arrested a subject in possession of a stolen vehicle in the Seventh District.

On Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 10:28 a.m., Seventh District officers and detectives responded to the 4100 block of Poche Court for the report of a business burglary in progress.

The caller reported an unknown male later identified as Vincent Rogers (B/M DOB: 3/19/1986) inside a blue colored vehicle backed into a loading dock of the location in the rear of the building.

Upon arrival at the location the detective observed the Rogers reclined in the driver seat of the vehicle, backed into a loading dock. Officers were able to safely apprehend the individual.

During the course of the investigation officers learned that the vehicle was reported stolen from Jefferson Parish in 2016.

The vehicle was recovered and Rogers was arrested and charged with possession of stolen auto.
