Noodling in Logan

Did you know that there are 120 restaurants in Cache Valley? That means that you could eat at a different restaurant everyday of the month for four months before going back to the same one a second time. How many of us have picked our favorites and go back again and again?

Personally, I try to visit the restaurants around the valley. What can I say, I like variety. Recently, a new fast food restaurant opened in Logan in the Pinecrest Shopping Center parking lot called Noodles & Company (www.noodles.com).

The location is convenient with easy access and plenty of parking. We arrived a little before noon and ordered. If you haven????????t been to the restaurant before, the menu could be a little confusing. But, once you figure out the menu and how to work it, there are quite a few choices which range from Macaroni and Cheese to Pad Thai. Meat is an option along with salad or soup.

The atmosphere is clean and modern, with a hint of a Japanese restaurant ambiance. At our table, we tried the Pad Thai and the Japanese Pan Noodles. The Japanese Pan Noodles were a bit spicy, but looked very good. The Pad Thai was a nice dish, but I would probably do the small size instead of the regular size the next time for lunch.

With your noodle dish, meat and a soup or salad, you will be spending about $9, then add a large drink for $2 and you have an idea of what you might be into lunch. Try it out, you might like noodling in Logan for something different. Only 119 left to try in Cache Valley. (Noodles & Company, 1430 North Main, Logan, Utah, 435.753.2629 www.noodles.com)
