Downtown KCK Will Come Alive!
Better Block is a community revitalization project and urban design exhibit. The event demonstrates how temporary streetscape improvements, bicycle accessibility, pop-up businesses, local art and street life can improve vitality, create connections, and generate a thriving community of commerce and interaction. There will be food trucks and a beer garden.
The Better Block event is part of Mayor David Alvey’s Neighborhoods UP! initiative to promote economic development and community growth by focusing on improvements in KCK neighborhoods.
