The School of Hard Knocks will be presenting ???¦?Navigating the Financial Storms – Practical Strategies & Life Lessons from the School of Hard Knocks???¦? during the North Logan City Emergency Preparedness Fair on Saturday September 21, 2013 at the Greenville Elementary located at 2450 North 400 East in North Logan, Utah.
Several other presenters will cover topics each hour on matters such as: how to survive an earthquake, food storage, the use of honey and essential oils in an emergency, plumbing basics, emergency first aid, childbirth during an emergency, 72-hour kits, long-term food storage, emergency shelters, solar power, water storage and purification, hygiene, pandemic readiness and women???¦??s self-defense.
The Fair Exhibitors and Speakers will be on-site from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., where they will share their information with the community as an effort to help the public become prepared for emergency situations.
One of the fair???¦??s exhibitors will be Roger K. Young, a Deseret Book bestselling author. Young will also speak at the Logan Tabernacle at 6 p.m. on Saturday, when he will address the sequence of the events of the last days, as outlined in the scriptures, and near-future events, with emphasis on a prophesied 13-month war in America.
The Preparedness Fair and Young???¦??s presentation at the Tabernacle are open to everyone and the admission is free.
