“The Australian housing market is well-primed for a service like N-Hance. Through our work with Wet-seal clients, we saw a consistent need and desire to renew and update hardwood flooring in their homes”
With more than 400 locations across the United States and Canada, and continued momentum of adding more than 100 new locations to its domestic operations each year, N-Hance is setting its sights on expanding the concept to other foreign markets, starting with the Australian continent. Master franchisee Mark Greenwood is optimistic and excited to begin growing the concept in Australia where the flooring market is growing at a phenomenal rate, creating a strong demand for wood care services. Greenwood plans to add 42 new territories in Australia and six in New Zealand over the next ten years. He expects the first franchise to be sold by March 2017.
Greenwood’s background has prepared him well to launch the brand in the new market, as he currently serves as the CEO for Wet-seal, a service concept that offers waterproofing and sealing to internal wet areas such as bathrooms as well as decks and balconies. In addition to his current role with the Wet-seal franchise, Greenwood will be able to tap into his decades-long background in business and banking to help grow the brand.
“The Australian housing market is well-primed for a service like N-Hance. Through our work with Wet-seal clients, we saw a consistent need and desire to renew and update hardwood flooring in their homes,” said Greenwood. “After extensive research and hands-on learning, our team found that there’s no other concept with the capabilities and quality that the N-Hance process provides. It’s a thrilling venture to bring the tested brand into this new market.”
N-Hance is an innovative, affordable wood cabinet and floor renewal service that renews wood surfaces without the dust, inconvenience and noxious fumes associated with traditional methods. The brand uses gentle products and services to clean, repair, and renew wood floors, cabinets, trims and furniture to a beautiful near-new glow, saving customers time and money over the traditional refinishing, re-facing or replacing alternatives.
“As the N-Hance brand has continued to grow and thrive in the North American markets, international expansion to new continents is a natural progression for us. Wood renewal services are universally valued, particularly as the popularity of hardwood surfaces continues to grow,” added Kelly Jensen, Senior Vice President of Franchise Operations with N-Hance. “With this agreement to expand into Australia and New Zealand, our team is looking forward to building momentum for continued international growth.”
