The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and the Missouri Job Center will be hosting a Multi-Industry Hiring Event on Thursday, September 29, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Springfield location, 2900 E. Sunshine. Each of the 40 employers is actively seeking applicants for open positions. Applicants should dress appropriately and bring up-to-date copies of their resume as well as a sheet of prior work experience and references for online and paper applications. The Missouri Job Center is also hosting and assisting with three additional events in the Ozark Region this week on Thursday and Friday.
The Missouri Job Center’s Branson location, 2720 Shepherd of the Hills Expy., will be hosting a also hiring event on Thursday, September 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Welk Resorts. Welk Resorts will be interviewing for Room Attendant, Assistant Front Desk Manager, Concierge Services, Box Office, Engineer 1, Front Desk Agent, Executive Assistant, Group Sales Manager, Group Sales Assistant, Kid Club Attendant, Dishwasher, and Pantry Cook positions.
The Missouri Job Center’s Mobile Career Center will also be assisting JP Morgan Chase with a hiring event at their location, 303 Republic Rd, on Thursday, September 29, from 3 to 6 p.m. Chase’s “Family and Fun Career Fair” will be focused on interviews for Specialist I positions in their Credit Card Service Department, but the event will also include music, giveaways, food and more. Chase is looking for over 100 associates to start as soon as October.
On Friday, September 30, the Missouri Job Center’s Springfield location will be hosting a hiring event for Sperry Rail Service from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sperry Rail Service will be interviewing to fill 20 open Driver Mechanic positions. A CDL Class A or B is required.
