SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel University Business Department will welcome back Megan Washam, a 2017 EU graduate who currently works as an analyst with Google in San Francisco, Calif. She will be a guest speaker on Thursday, October 11.

Megan will share the journey of her college internships and landing a job with Google.
“It should be a great discussion for students and one of her emphasis is to start early in your college career in obtaining meaningful internships,” Robert Thomas, director of talent engagement at Evangel, said.
Washam, native of Corinth, Texas, graduated from Evangel with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. In 2016, she interned in political advertising at Google Elections in Washington, D.C. She helped both Democratic and Republican clients, strategize and sell advertising spots on Google search.
From there, she secured a job as Associate Product Marketing Manager at Google in San Francisco, Calif., where she works today.
During her time at Evangel, Washam was an integral part of the varsity softball team. The infielder and team captain played 148 games at Evangel and started 147 of them.
