Mayor, Local Leaders Hosting Community Memorial Service for Little Haiti F.C. Members

(Miami, FL June 4, 2019) – On Saturday, May 25, 2019, three teenage members of the Little Haiti FC Soccer Club were tragically killed by a suspected drunk driver with a suspended driver’s license. The young men – Richecarde Dumay, Gedeov Desir and Lens Desir – were excited to be on their way to a major soccer tournament in Weston, FL, and were hit as they walked down the sidewalk on their way to meet the team bus.

A community memorial service for these three young men will be held this Thursday at the Little Haiti Soccer Park. This event is free and open to the public.

Parking for attendees will be available at Notre Dame D’Haiti Catholic Church at 110 NE 62 Street. A shuttle bus will be available to transport attendees to the field.
