MAYOR GONE FISHING WITH 1,000 CITIZENS

Jacksonville Florida Where Florida BeginsJACKSONVILLE, Fla., April 27, 2017 “Gone Fishing” is the out of office message Mayor Lenny Curry will provide Friday afternoon when he joins nearly a thousand Jacksonville seniors for the 38th annual Mayor’s Fish-A-Thon event presented by the City of Jacksonville. The free event will include a fishing tournament, music, dancing, games, and a table decorating contest for all Duval County seniors ages 60 and older. Fishing gear and bait will be provided to participants. The annual Fish-A-Thon is one of many events hosted by the Senior Services division to help keep seniors active and engaged.
