NEW ORLEANS — Today, Mayor LaToya Cantrell issued a statement on the final financial closing of the much-anticipated Four Seasons Hotel project at the foot of Canal Street.

“I am excited and proud to announce that as of this afternoon, Two Canal Owner, LLC completed the final financial closing to bring the Four Seasons to New Orleans,” said Mayor Cantrell. “Construction is going to start right away, and we hope to see New Orleans’ very own Four Seasons hotel up and running by the end of 2020.”

Officials held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project at the former World Trade Center Building, a 33-story structure, in early May of this year.
