Councilmember Aldama and Glendale Firefighters Remind Residents About Fire Dangers During the Holidays

Glendale, Ariz. – Councilmember Jamie Aldama speaks with Glendale Fire Chief Terry Garrison, Public Information Officer Ashley Losch and Outreach Coordinator Dr. Janet Boberg on holiday safety and public education programs on the latest “Glendale Today” with Councilmember Jamie Aldama TV show.

This episode will focus on holiday safety tips, Glendale Fire Department’s public education programs and a Christmas tree fire/burn demonstration at Glendale Regional Public Safety Training Center (GRPSTC). Chief Garrison will highlight fire prevention and recruitment efforts. Dr. Janet Boberg, Glendale Fire Department’s Public Education section, will discuss health and safety programs. Ashley Losch will inform viewers about Glendale Fire’s involvement with charities and other related subjects.

“I look forward to the coming holidays when we can all spend quality time with our families,” said Aldama. “More importantly, I want Glendale residents to be extra cautious and watchful for fire hazards this holiday season.”
