Marshall Public Library to Host Free Screenings of “Daniel Tiger” Special

Marshall Public Library in Pocatello IdahoA special featuring one of PBS Kids’ most beloved characters will be on the big screen at the Marshall Public Library.  


Saturday, May 6 at 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. the library will host free screenings of Tiger Family Trip, a special from the animated series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. The hour-long show features Daniel, as well as the Tiger Family, taking “a road trip to see Grandpere, and Daniel has a special gift he can’t wait to give his grandfather. Follow the family as they sing and play games, visit a dinosaur-themed playground, and explore a butterfly garden on their way to Grandpere’s house.”


The screening is sponsored by Albertsons and is free to the public but interested viewers must preregister by May 5 at idahoptv.org/support_new/membership/danieltiger.cfm.


Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood builds upon the work of the landmark PBS series Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. The stories featured in Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood “were written based on extensive input from a wide range of early learning specialists, formative research with children and the benefit of more than 40 years of the work of Fred Rogers.”
