March Madness extends to pet adoptions, too

The Fort Worth Animal Shelter is joining the excitement surrounding March Madness. With the shelter currently operating at full capacity, there are nearly 600 dogs and cats waiting to be adopted.

Did you know the Fort Worth Animal Shelter takes in more than 17,000 animals each year? It’s the continuing goal of the shelter to find loving a home for each of these incredible pets.

Adoption fees are reduced to $20.18 during this event. The adoption fees include an initial medical examination, rabies vaccination, city license, micro-chip and spay/neuter services.

  • Chuck Silcox Animal Care & Adoption Center, 4900 Martin St. Friday-Sunday.
  • PetSmart Adoption Center Hulen, 4800 S.W. Loop 820 (I-20 at Hulen).
  • PetSmart Adoption Center Alliance, 2901 Texas Sage Trail (I-35W at Heritage Trace).
