Logan City Continues Flood Watch

Tony Grove still has 44 inches of snow as of six pm on June 23, 2011. This indicates that there is still a lot of water to come down the Logan River and the Black Smith Fork.

Water is running high as observed. It is also known that Logan City employees are on call to clear debris from the dams and intakes for the power station. Because of the swift waters, there is a lot of tree limbs and other things that are clogging the intakes. Without clearing these, the water could run over the dams in Logan Canyon.

It appears that summer is here to stay. For the next 5 days, the temperature is expected to be in the low to mid 80????????s during the day. This should cause the snow to melt quickly during the next 6 ???????? 10 days.
