Customers will have limited access to the books in the collection at the Faulk Central Library from Monday, August 14 through Friday, September 15, 2017 while we begin moving the collection of books and other materials to the New Central Library, 710 W. César Chávez St. in preparation for  the facility’s anticipated grand opening on Saturday, October 28 at 10 AM

During this time, Library customers can use the Faulk Central Library to:

  • access the 1st and 2nd floors of the collection
  • pick up holds
  • use public computers
  • use WiFi
  • access the book drop
  • request Interlibrary Loans
  • Access the Reference desk

The entire 3rd floor of the Faulk Central Library and the nonfiction collection located on that floor will be unavailable until the New Central Library opens on October 28. Telephone reference and the Ask A Librarian service will remain available during the moving process.
The entire Faulk facility will close Saturday, September 16, 2017
Any customer holds on Library materials that were scheduled for pick-up at the Faulk Central Library will be re-routed to the Carver Branch until the New Central Library opens.
