Learn about improvements in the Ash Crescent neighborhood

Fort Worth is in the midst of a major investment in the Ash Crescent community to improve public safety, promote economic revitalization and enhance neighborhood engagement. Attend a community meeting to hear an update on the improvements so far.

The meeting will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 1 at Cooper Missionary Baptist Church, 1801 S. Riverside Drive.

The City Council voted to provide $2.77 million in funding to the Ash Crescent neighborhood in southeast Fort Worth as the 2018 target area for neighborhood improvements. The funding comes from a ½-cent allocation of the municipal property tax rate to provide capital projects, improve public safety and attract private investment in underserved neighborhoods.
