Las Vegas Residents Invited To Oct. 10 Community Forum

Ward 5 Councilman Cedric Crear Will Host With City Staff At West Las Vegas Library

Las Vegas Ward 5 Councilman Cedric Crear encourages residents to participate in a community forum and information fair Wednesday, Oct. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the West Las Vegas Library Theatre and lobby. The event is free and open to the public of all ages at 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd.

The councilman will be joined by city staff who will make brief informational presentations on the services and programs offered to residents by different city departments. A question-and-answer session and information fair will follow the presentations.

Community forum topics will include:

  • Economic Development
  • Public Safety
  • Homeless Initiatives
  • Workforce Development
  • Community Engagement

“I especially hope Ward 5 residents will take this opportunity to connect with me and city staff,” said Councilman Crear, “to address the issues that concern them as well as learn more about the resources the city offers to residents.”
