It’s Never Too Cold for Frozen Custard

Brrrr! It's been in the low teens in Utah lately, but that doesn't stop people from enjoying frozen custard. People have been eating ice cream in the winter for decades–and frozen custard is actually premium ice cream–the best, most delicious there is!

In the summertime, lines at Nielsen's Frozen Custard in Layton, Utah are often long and out the door, with inside tables filled all the time. Part of the fun of eating the custard outside is keeping up with how fast the custard melts in the hot temperatures; it's deliberately frozen at higher temperatures than ice cream so our tongues can thoroughly taste each bite, so… it melts faster.

In the wintertime, one can leisurely enjoy the custard flavor without thinking about how fast it might melt–unless you're eating it in your car with the heater turned up full blast!

No matter the season, frozen custard is a delight. Choose from two or three custard flavors and a multitude of mix-in flavors. YUM!
