Hoop it up in Juneteenth youth basketball tournament

Youth basketball players will participate in the inaugural Hoopteenth Classic, June 15-16 at O.D. Wyatt High School, 2400 E. Seminary Drive. The tournament is sponsored by the Fort Worth Police Department.

Third- through eighth-graders will compete against their grade level beginning at 9 a.m. June 15.

The event is part of Juneteenth activities in Fort Worth. A special presentation will feature community activist Opal Lee, police officers, Nationwide Athletes and others.
