Greenfield Acres phase two drainage improvements to get underway

The city’s Transportation and Public Works Department is hosting a community meeting to update residents on the Greenfield Acres water, sewer and drainage improvements project.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m., Monday, August 12, at Greenfield Elementary School Cafeteria, 6020 Ten Mile Bridge Road.

The first phase of drainage improvements is nearing completion. The next phase begins soon and consists of multiple segments beginning with construction of a storm drain system on South Ridge to connect to the first phase of improvements.

The timing of future segments will be discussed in this neighborhood meeting. Those segments include pipe and inlets on Greenfield, North Hill Road West, North Ridge Road and Tee Head Drive. Grading and a reduction in the ditches on Cindy Lane will complete this the project.

Make plans to attend the meeting to hear the schedule and find out about impacts to residents.
