Grassroots News Site Launches – Is Your Voice Being Heard?

Providence, Utah, March 3, 2011 – Lee Everton announced today the launch of the Area-Info.net website to give people a voice and an opportunity to share news about their communities.

Area-Info.net is a unique site that provides an easy way for people to share news, opinions, events, obituaries, weddings, lifestyle and reviews with others who are interested in what they have to say.

Mr. Everton states that he is a “news junky, reading and watching all the news he can.” However, he found what he wanted most was local news that showed the fabric of the community. Through years of research, he found that this was missing in almost every case. The “establishment” provides the majority of the news in large newspapers and small newspapers alike. He wanted to hear news from the locals.

Area-Info.net provides an open forum for people who have opinions and who in the past may have been limited by space, time constraints, or location. This will give the opinionated neighbor the necessary platform to complete their thoughts.

For businesses that have a difficult time finding the right outlets for news and press releases, Area-Info.net is the ideal site to have national visibility for announcements. And, the businesses control the timing of publication.

Additional Information:

ALEGROUP developed www.area-info.net after testing and researching the markets with several other websites with a very local scope. Mr. Everton loves visiting and learning about local areas. He finds the people, food, festivals, business and sites fascinating and wanted a way for people to share what they know and love about their town.
