City Office Hours and Schedule Changes

City of Glendale ArizonaGLENDALE, Ariz. — City of Glendale offices will be closed on Monday, Sept. 4, in observance of the Labor
Day holiday.
All residential garbage and recycling collection services will take place as usual on all regularly scheduled
collection days throughout the holiday week, however the Glendale Municipal Landfill will be closed on Sept. 4 in

Only GUS Bus One will run on Monday, Sept. 4, operating on the GUS Bus One “Sunday schedule,” between
8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Reservations for Dial-a-Ride service for the federal holiday (Monday, Sept. 4) must be made ahead
of time – by noon on Friday, Sep. 1. Reservations can be made by calling Glendale Transit Services at 623-930-3500.
ADA service will be available and will be based on a holiday fixed route schedule. No same-day service will be
available on the Monday holiday.
Valley Metro bus and rail will operate Sunday schedules on the Labor Day holiday, however, there will be no
Express or RAPID service and Valley Metro Customer Service will be closed. Visit valleymetro.org/onlinetools to
plan your next trip or contact Customer Service at 602-253-5000.
The Glendale Adult Center will be closed Monday, Sept. 4 in observance of the holiday. Glendale Municipal
Airport will remain open; however, the airport’s administrative offices will be closed. Glendale’s three public libraries
will be closed Monday, Sept. 4, along with the “Visit Glendale” offices.
Glendale’s Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Center will remain open on the Labor Day holiday from 7 a.m.
to 5 p.m., however, the pool will close at 4:30 p.m. For more information about the Foothills Recreation and Aquatics
