Military veterans interested in rewarding careers in information

Applicants do not need previous tech experience or a college degree.
Since the Veteran

“This program has been successful because veterans are results-oriented,
adaptable and self-reliant. These are among the skills critical for
those seeking a career in IT,” GEICO Director of IT Talent Management
Ted Robey said.
GEICO’s connection to the military dates back to its founding in 1936;
back then, the company exclusively offered policies to service members
and government employees. The Veteran
IT Transition Program is one of the many ways GEICO is keeping that
connection strong. The company also offers special
discounts for active duty service members and veterans and has a department
dedicated to supporting the needs of the military community.
