Full-, half-distance triathlons coming to Fort Worth

The second Tri Fort Worth on May 20 will include aqua-bike and half-distance races in the heart of Cowtown.

“You’re going to get to see our beautiful city, our trails, our downtown, the river,” Mayor Betsy Price said. “It’s going to be a lot of fun and the race experience of a lifetime.”

This point-to-point race begins in northwest Fort Worth at Marine Creek Lake, known to be a favorite among fitness enthusiasts for clean water and spectator-friendly trails surrounding the lake. Athletes will then continue on a fast and moderately hilly bike course through North Texas countryside. The bike course concludes at the Fort Worth Water Gardens. The run course will take participants to the finish line in downtown Fort Worth for a celebration they’ll never forget.
