On October 9, The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities (BPU) will provide a free educational workshop focused on community solar and energy efficiency. The event will be held from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library in the 2nd Floor Auditorium.
Light refreshments will be served. Come prepared to learn about the BPU Community Solar program available now to Kansas City, Kansas customers. The workshop will cover how the program works, benefits, and how to enroll. The event also includes a variety of easy and effective home weatherization strategies that can help seal in the warmth during the winter months.
BPU provides education about community solar, energy efficiency and rebate incentives to the public year-round. These events are an opportunity for the community to learn how to reduce energy consumption with small changes and lower their environmental impact.
Registration is now open and seating is limited so register early. For more event details and to RSVP, please contact BPU Development Coordinator David Allen by October 4 at 913-573-9922 or email dallen.
